THE UNIVERSITY CLUB
Club House for Members, of the,
Faculty Has Finally Become a
Reality at State.
The University club, composed
of members of• the faculty and gen
eral.' officers of the college, hag
opened its new house on Frazier
street under the most auspicious cir
eunistarices. There hag been a move
ment for many years to bring the
older and younger members of the
Tatultjr On 'more. intimate relations
and the success of the University ,
club will depend upon this relation
ship. There are at present sixteen
members living , in , the house 'anti
thirty-five • inentbers taking their
'meals there. The lower portion - of
the house' has been fitted 'out' so
that there musk; pool, writing and
dining rooms. A private dining
room has been provided and will be
used for special occasions. The
upper portion of the house consists
of twelve suites of rooms and has
been attractively furnished 'through
out. - ' '
It has been the purpose of the
members to have social events of
various kinds during •the winter and,
the first was a delightful house
warming held last evening at which
some three hundred, guests, were
shown about the house and enjoyed
the hiaSPitality of the members.

to hear the opinions of others, be
