Saturday evening, in the Audi
torium, IMr. Bohner, Immigrant
Work Secretary of the State Y. M.
C A , gave a most interesting lec,
ture on the subject oi immigrat on
Mr. Bohner has h. d much per
sonal experience with .:11 classes and
kindd of immigrants i and has trveled
through the countries from which
many of them come, having blot: re
cently returned from a fourteen
mOnths tour in company with four
-other young men. This trip was
made mostly by bicycle, the party
spending five months in Rome, five
months in Southern Italy. and foiir
months in Hungary and Poland.
The lecture was illustrated by

photogrohs taken by the speaker.
They pictured the aripinal home life
of our immigrants and how much
this has been improved by the num
ber who have returned to their na
tive lend. Among fhe pictures
thrown on the. screen was one of the
CoSmopolitan club of this college.
In this connection • Mr. Bohner said
that these men were good examples
of what our immigrants could do for
themselves when given a chance.
The entertainment was fittingly
closed , by the singing of our Nation
al hymn by the audielce.
