Glee and Mandolin Clubs Give Free
Concert.
A large crowd came out last Fri
day night and took advantage of the
oppoltunity offered of hearing the
Glee I land Mandolin concert free of
charge. The music was character-'
ized by quite a variety of pieces and
the spirit the men put into their
singing and playing added much
to making the corcert a success.
The program, consisting of sons by
the Glee Club. and of selectio ns by,
the Mandolin club, was muc the
same as was used on the recen trip
of the combined organizations, A
clever piece of work Was thelrnjo
solo by Mi, Spiegle ;who showaid as
much skill with the banjo as an old
time minstrel. Besides the miscel
laneous numbers by the Glee and
Mandolin clubs. Mr. Gray rendered
several solos that were very much
appreciated by the audience.

Tomorrow evening, May 13, in
the Auditorium, there will be a nov
el treat in store in the way of the
Iriing College Glee Club, - These
girl made a deCided hit with a large
audience at Gettysburg last month.
According to Pesident .1. A Sing
master of the eminary, there. the
readings and music. were fine and
highly appreciated. The pro t spects
are good foi a similar occurrence
here at State. Hear the girls.
Tickets will be on sale at the Busi
ness Office this evening from 7 8,
and at the Auditorium on Friday
evening before the concert. Prices
35,r50, 75 and $l.OO.
