In the absence of Mr Meissner, Mr. Atherton lead the baiid through the program of seven numb Os. each of •which was played in the spirit of the occasion and with the accustomed harmony and clearness that has marked the 'Waving of the band fo'r some tine past. Among the num bers on the program were some fgvorite selections including Chopin's "Funeral March," - The Drummer of the Guard," and the "Hungarian Dance No 5 " The other numbers were " rile Prima Donna," "Egyp tian Love Dance," - ' "Selections from Erminie," and " The-Peacock liadinette."
