Seniors Defeat Freshmen.
The seniors at last succeeded in
stopping the victorious freshman
baseball team when they defeated
them lag Thursday evering by at
score of 14 to 9. The game was a
batting bee from start to finish and
all three pitchers were pounded
hard. No game was played Satur
day because the varsity used Old
Beaver field for practice The score

Scranton Engineer's Club on Thurs
day April twenty-first on the State
Federation of Engineer's advocating
the combination of- the detached
locally organized engineers' associa
tions throughout the state, which
hag been well begun. and is rapidly
becoming an assured success.
