At the regular meeting of the
Deutscher Verein on Friday even
ing, the main feature of the program

Pond, describing the student 9 ele
bration in Germany on Bismark's
eightieth birthday. Her talk 'pic
tured in a -most vivid and interesting
manner this remarkable celebration,
the only one of its kind in the
world's history. All the members
present expressed their apprecia
tion of Mrs Pond's address in a
