rectors.
At a recent meeting of the board
of directors resolutions were adopt

ed to induce the college to publish
a amphlet of information for pro
spective istudenrs. .Interesting pro
grams are being Provided for the
meetings. in - the way ofl addresSes
by General Beaver, iitcl i Dr. Sparks,
and by Istunts" I;i i r .-the different
nationalities'. A Russian night will
be given in the near future, and later
on, a Porto Rican and a Cuban
night. These meetings are open to
all. .
- The club at present has , about 31
members representing 10 'nationali
ties. The following remarks made
by one of the members expresses
the sentiment and the spirit of the
organization :
- Let us cut out all national feel
ings. Remember that in signing
this constitution we have pledged
ourselves to uphold that principle,
'above all nations, is'humanity.'
, "Let us respect each other's opin•
ions and ideas. Remember that we
have been reared among different
peoples with different i costumes,
ideas, etc.; thai ivhat seems perfect
ly for some .is ridiculous for
others. By close contact with eaFia
other all our traditions and

thing will have to go, but remember
that if we want to be cosmopolitans
we have.to sacrifice ourselves.

That is the seat of all trouble."
