"Alec" Gray, the Big Guard, Se
cures the Coveted Ho ( nor of Foot
ball Captain.

Last,Saturday afternoon the foot
ball "S" men finally got together
after numerous and various unavoid
able delays and elected Alexander
Gray 'll to be the football captain
next fall. No nominations were
made and each player oast his vote
for the desired candidate. All the
ballots were cast for "Dick': Smith
and "Alec" Gray, the latter being
elected. Either man would have
made an excellent leader and' l the

sity play has been •unswervingly
consistent and praiseworthy.
The new captain played center in I
the Altoona, Geneva, Indian, Grove
City, Lebanon Valley, 'Dickinson,
Pennsylvania, Navy and Pitt games
in his freshman year; daring the fol
lowing football season he worked at
the same position in the Bellefonte
Academy, Grove City, Indian,
Penn, Geneva, West Virgihia, Cor
nell, Buctknell, Navy and 'Pitt
