The department of Industrial Engineering is completing the work on. the nOw.'electric light poles, which will be used to replace all the pres ent poles pn the campus. The design was chien after much jnvestigationi of ,the various kinds in use in the large cities of this and European countries. As soon as the work of casting has been completed, and one of the poles assembled and approved by the President the whole order will be filled as fast as the foundry can be operated. -I The department has had much of this kind of work to handle - this year. \ In all, the value of work for other departments, in construc tion and equipment, has) amounted to nearly $3OOO.
