A Real Football Team.
The following article was pub
lished in the New York Telegram of
Obtober 25 and has been posted' in
the Athletic store, but we take the
liberty of reprinting it that all may
see it again and think about it. We

leges." We surely have a 'team in
. every sense of the word.
"Those who like football for the
game, and what there is in it, - when
it is properly played by a 'team
,which has been properly I coached,
missed the/opportunity of the season
wht they failed to I slip, over to
Phi adelphia and see the contest be
tween- Peimsylvania and "Penn
State."
"Bill" - Hollenback, who is coach
ing the "Penn State" team, has
tumea out one of the , smartest,
cleanest cut football elevens tiat has
been seen in the East this year, or
last, or any other year. It is a team
' which wastes no energy. Every
move is made for a purpose and the

attentio of the players i so concen
trated at the team wor sin unison.

Pennsylvania there was only one
miscue on the part of "Penn State,"
and that pre i sumably due to-.a mis
understanding of the sigrals, an idea
kniy be had of the quality of foot
ball which is played by these Yung
men, from up ,in the northern part of
the Keystone State. -
The team goes without ,friction.
One player's part in the game fits
perfectly with the support of his
teammates. Two ends, one of them
