New Engineer Board.
At a meeting of the seniors and
juniors in the School of Engineer
ing, the following juniors were elect
ed to fill the positions on the staff
of the Engineer for next year : J. F.
Mattern, mechanical; S. J. McNary,
electrical; L. M. Fisher, civil; and
E. W. Stitt and A. H Jones busi
ness manager and assistant business
manager respectively. The editor
in chief will be elected by the new
board from among its members

Strickland Gillilan.
Mr. Gillilan lived up to his repu
tation as a humorist when he enter
tained a large auciitlice for two
hours in the Auditorium last Satur
day right. He mixes his jokes
with much good common sense and
philosophy, and many of them have
the rare element of pathos. He
says his object is to better the world
by giving it sugar coated pills. The
story of his experience in a sleeping
car would make the blackest pessi
mist almost smile. •
The Ben Greet players will pre
sent Macbeth at Carlisle tonight
under the auspices of the Civic Club
of Dickinson College. Tomorrow
they will give The Merchant of
Venice and Hamlet at Lancaster
under the management of the Frank
lin and Marshall Y. M. C. A.
