leg over Sunday. He is with a pa
per and pulp company in Virginia.
J. E. Ferguson 'OB is with the
Bureau of Soils, Department of
Agriculture, engaged in soil survey
work.
The friends of J. G. Stoll 'OB will
be glad to learn of his marriage on
February 22nd to Miss Mary Kuhn
of Philadelphia.
W. C. Cope 'O6 who has been
with the U. S. Geological Sui vey for
some time at Sandy Hook, N. J.,
has recently been transferred to
Pittsburg. '
R. D. Quickel 'OB and Miss Nan
Bounds, of Philadelphia, were mar
ried on Feb. 10 , at Lexington, Ken
tucky. Mr. Quickel is reaching this
year in the University of Kentucky.
L. E. Perry 'O6, is with the Great
Northern Railway on the electrifica
tion of the Cascade Tunnel. This
tunnel is 13,873 feet long, and a new
system of electrification is being in
stalled.
We have just received notice of
the death of Francis S. Burrowes '7l,
which occurred at Portland, Me. Mr.
Burrowes was a son of Dr. Thomas
H. Burrowes, who was president of
the College from 1869 until his
death.
R. W. Bair 'O6, who was located
in Chicago for some time, is now in
the employ of John R. Livezey,
1933 Market St., Philadelphia.
The firm manufactures cork and
asbestos pipe covering and cold
storage equipment.
