    Rules for the Flag Scrap.
1. The flag scrap must take place
between the 15th of April and the Ist
of June, inclusive, exclusive of va-
cations
2. The flag must be raised with
in the following limits : The road
east of the campus from College
avenue to road leading to and tra
versing Lover's Lane to the north
west corner of the Athletic. field;
south to the road through orchard;
west along road through orchard t 6
college barns; south to Bellefonte
Central railroad; southeast : along
Bellefonte Central to College avenue;
east to corner of East road and
College avenue.
3. The pole shall be planted in
the ground and the flag shall be
raised by the freshman class before
5:30 a. m.
4. In order to win, the Fresh
men must fly their flag on their pole
within the prescribed time and lim
its, and keep it there until seven
o'clock of the morning of the scrap.
5. In order to win, the-Sopho
mores must taxe the flag from the
pole before seven o'clock, or take it
from freshmen or a freshman with
in the designated boundaries during
the time between the 15th of April
and the Ist of June.
6. No man shall - have a perma
nent station affixed to the pole after
5: -0 a. m.
7. The pole shall be smooth and
free from forks, and no artificial
means shall be used to make it diffi
cult to climb.
8. The use of machines, ladders,
climbers, or other implements likely
to cause serious injury is strictly
prohibited.
9. Men shall not be handcuffed
or bound with anything but rope.
10. All athletes in training are d , -
barred from the scrap.
11. The judges shall be the two
upper class presidents and a third
man chosen by them.
The Catholic services are held in
the agricultural building on alternate
Sundays at 10 a. m. The dates be
fore Easter are February 14 and 28
and March 14 and 28.
