be started soon in the Mining build
ing. This is the first laboratory of
its kind to be installed here. It will
cover all the principles of ore dress
ing.
At the Wednesday mass meeting
President Sparks announced that
the next number of the free lecture
course will be a first-class movi.lg
picture entertainment.
The regular faculty meeting will
be held this evening.

R. H. Elliott 'O5 after spending a
year with the General Electric com
pany at Schenectady as a commer
cial engineer has been transferred to
the Pittsfield works where he is en
gaged in transformer work. The
other 'State alumni now located at
Pittsfield are I. P. Thompson 'O4,
J. K. Madden and W. E. Krone 'O5,
F. C. Woodside, C. D. Preston and
C. R: Blanchard 'OB, the two latter
being on the test. ' _
D. C. Baird 'O3 who has been
with the Pennsylvania Railroad corn
pany,for some time has recently
been transferred to Bordentown,N.J.
J. E. Wagner 'O2 has recently
been made superintendent of the
Bellefonte Public schools.
Fred Fletcher 'O6 of Marietta,
Pa., is just recovering from a serious
attack of typhoid fever.
