certain individual right to the senior class of exemption for the entire year, and, at the same time, will give the junior class the same right as it approaches the rank of senior." The Regimental Review. The annual Pennsylvania Day review of the cadet regiment proved eminently satisfactory to everyone connected with the military depart ment. The reviewing officer was Major General John A. Wiley, of Franklin, Pa., who is at the head of the national guard of Pennsylvania. He was assisted by Col.Jefferies and Col. Taylor, who is in command of the Fifth Regiment. With Col. Taylor were the members of his staff, Captains Locke, Robison, Hayes, and Hunter. Gen. Wiley congratulated Com mandant Hay heartily on the ap pearance of the regiment, and was especially pleased with the steadiness of the men during the entire review. Not a single movement or unsteadi ness was noticed during the time that the regiment was in line, and With 650 men in ranks this is no small cause for a feeling of satis f4ction on the part of the Corn inandant. ' The pact that all of the companies are Much larger than usual this year Made it much harder to keep a steady line while marching in review. The lines were up to the standard, hpweiier.
