A Farmers' Train.
Arrangements have been com
pleted by the agricultural depart
merit for the running of a "Farmers'
Special" train over the Pennsyl
vadia railroad in the southeastern
part of the state. The trip will be
made on Noveinber inclusive.
There 'will be twenty-five stops of
forty-fiVe mintites 'each at the' var
ious points along the line:and at each
of these the subjects of corn and
alfalfa raising,- soil fertility, increase
of dairy profits, and• others of in
terest to farmers will be treated.
The plan has been tried in other
states and has proved successful.
Among those who 'will talk at the
different stops are Professors Agee,
Gardner, McDowell, Van Norman,
and Shaw.
