    COLLEGE •NOTES.
Fifty. three delegates to the Cen
tral District Y. M. C. A. Conven
tion which was held in Bellefonte
last week spent Saturday at the Col
lege. After listening to an address
by Dr. Green in the afternoon they
saw the State-Geneva football game.
The Northumberland county club
was organized last week and the
f allowing officers were elected:
president, W. M. Heim; vice-presi•
dent, D. D. Colvin; secretary, W.
E. Druckemiller; treasurer, C. D.
Clark. A smoker will be held in
the near future, at which all stu
dents from the county should be
present.
President Sparks spoke last week
at the dedication of a high school
building at Meyersdale, Pa., at a
teacher's institute at New Castle,
and before the 1. M. C. A. con
vention at Bellefonte. On next Fri
day he speaks in Albany at the 46th
University Convocation of the state
of New York, on "The Relatial of
State to National History."
ALUMNI NOTES.
H. E. Stitt, 'O3, and wife, who
was Miss Mary McKee, '99, are
living at 1221 Florencedale Ave.,
Youngstown, Ohio. Mr. Stitt has
been for some time with the Car
negie Steel company.
Charles R. Oberfell, 'O6, who has
been with a leather company in
Newark, N J., has gone to Har
risonburg, Va. He is building a
new laboratory at the latter place
and will be chemist for England
Walton & Company, Inc., of
Philadelphia.
J. S. Knapper, 'OB, was recently
married to Miss Gertrude Heller, of
Clearfield, Pa. He is working for
the Du Pont Powder company.
J. E. Steely, 'O6, and D. B.
Landis, 'OB, are chemists for the
West Virginia Pulp and Paper Co.,
at Covington, Va. '
