    COLLEGE NOTES.
Miss Anna Redifer leaves for
Europe soon to attend the Inter
national Congress of Art Teachers
which meets in London during the
month of August. She expects to land
at Queenstown and go from Cork
to the Lakes of Killarney, to Dublin.
to the Isle of Man, and then cross
to the English Lake District. From
there she will go to Carlisle, to
Glasgow, the Trossochs, to Sterling,
to Edinburgh, New Castle, Durham,
York, Lincoln, Peterborough, Ely,
Cambridge, and I ond on. Short
trips out from London to Oxford
and other points will be taken. Re
turning from London Miss Redif e
will visit the cathedral town of Can
terbury, Winchester, Salisbury,
Hereford and others in the west of
England and in Wales. She will
sail from Liverpool in September.
Professor Hugo Diemer of the
Department of Mechanical Engineer
ing has an article in the Enginetring
Magazine for June on "A Four
Years' Course in Industrial Engi
neering." The Editor of the Maga
zine in a head note calls it "A con
crete presentation of a proposal for
a course preparing the student for
industrial work and one which merits
the attention due to pioneer efforts "
Mr. Jonn H. Leete has been
made "Dean of the School of
Science" of the Carnegie Schools of
Pittsburg where he has for some
time been Assistant Director.
