and was made especially to fit the Auditorium stage. It consists of two complete sets : a drawing room set and a library set. there are also grand drapery and tormentors to match, a complete set of flies, and a drop curtain. The grand draperies and tormentors are finished in rich maroon, gold and black with "Thespians" on the drapery and with the Thespian mask on each of the tormentors. On the drop cur tain is painted a garden scene with a vista of a river flanked by hills. The completely arranged frame makes the necessary changes in scenery much less troublesome than it has been in the past, and the drop curtain will remove the trouble usually experienced with the Audi torium curtain. The Thespians now feel that with these new settings they can put on a production that will compare favorably with those of the larger universites. New York Alumni Meeting. The last meeting of the Pennsyl vania State College association of New York before its annual Fall meeting was held on June 3, at the Cafe Boulevard where an informal dinner was served. The subject of athletics and athletic scholarships was thoroughly discussed, every one present taking an active part. At the next meeting,which will he held in October, new officers will be elected.
