College Customs. At a recent meeting of the Student Council, 'a revised list of college customs was compiled. The cus toms were divided into the two heads of general and class customs and the following list, which was submitted to the upper classes, has met with their approval. General Customs. Every student shall salute President. Each student shall give the right of way to those in the class above him, and seniors to the faculty. All students shall stand with un covered heads during the singing of Alma Mater. Class Customs Freshmen must always wear green caps except on trips and on Sun days. When leaving Chapel, the faculty pass out first, then the seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen in order. Freshmen must not smoke on the campus, nor in the halls of the col lege buildings. They shall not wear college colors during the first term. Freshmen are not permitted to carry canes unless they defeat the sophomores in the interclass football game. When an athletic victory is cele brated it is the duty of the freshmen to carry fuel for the bonfire: Freshmen must keep off the grass at all times. Freshmen shall not talk back to upper classmen when being in structed by them. - Sophomores shall issue but one proclamation each year, and the freshmen shall issue none. Procla mations must not be posted on the college buildings. The painting of the class numerals shall be restricted entirely to the freshman year; said painting of numerals shall be done only on the Dairy Employment Agency LANSING, MICH.
