    Reserves vs. Juniata.
In a cleanly played game the Re
serves defeated Juniata college on
Beaver Field last Wednesday by the
score of 5 to 0. The visitors se
cured but one hit from McKain and
he gave only one bast on balls.
Tne Scrubs clearly outclassed the
Juniata nine.

1909 Class Elections.
At the annual elections of the
junior class held on Wedr esday of
last week the following officers for
next year were chosen: president,
K. H. Marsh; vice president, C.
N, Fleming; secretary, J. G. Bech
told; treasurer, W. B. Furst.
Thespian Elections.
- The Thespians have elected the
following officers for the college
year 1908 09 : President, C. Henry;
secretary, C. A. Hogentogler; treas
urer; H. R. Higley; manager, W.
Sudduth; assistant manager, S. L'.
Pollock.
The Bellefo nte Central will run a
special train between Bellefonte and
and the College on Friday, Satur
day, and Monday of Commence
ment week. The special will leave
Bellefonte each of these days at 4.50
p. m., immediately after the arrival
of the train on the Pennsylvania
road.
Prof. and Mrs. E. D. Walker en
tertained the Senior Civils very
pleasantly on Friday evening, and
Prof. and Mrs. J. P. Jackson en
tertained the Senior Civils and
Mechanicals on the following even
ing. Both hosts and hostesses were
praised for their hospitality.
Dean Welsh will deliver the Com
mencement address at Medico-Chi
in Philadelphia on Saturday of this
week. He will also attend the
alumni dinner on Friday evening.
