Bubb got a poor start in the 100 yards and lost the toss for the prize in the 220. Miller made a fast finish after be ing boxed in the first part of the quarter mile. State qualified 12 out of 12 en term The preliminaries of all events except the mile and two mile were run Saturday morning. State was handicapped by the absence of hurdlers and weight men.
