Pharsonians at Commencement.
Through the efforts of the man-
alters of the Pharsonians, a date has
been obtained for a Commencement
performance. The outline of the
play will be somewhat similar to the
first production which proved so
popular, but an entirely new set of
songs and jokes will be produced.
The specialties will also be over
hauled, cutting out the less popular
parts and substituting for them
specialties of undoubted popularity.
The show will be given in the
Auditorium on the evening of Fri
day, June 12. After the show, an
informal dance of at least twelve
numbers will be held in the Armory.
Purchasers of reserved seat tickets
will be given cards which will admit
them to the dance. First class

The following is a copy of the
new Yale song, "Mother of Men,"
which won the prize of $300.00,
offered for the best original Yale
song The words are by B. W.
Hooker.
Mother of Men, grow strong in giv-
ing
Honor to them thy lights have
led—
Rich in the toil of thousands living,
Proud in the deeds of the thou
sands dead;
We who have felt thy power, and
know thee,
We in whose work
avail—
High in our hearts enshrined en
throne thee,
Mother of Men—Old Yale!
Spirit of Youth, alive, unchanging,
Under whose feet the years are
cast—
Heir to an empire, ranging
Over the future and the past—
Thee, whom our fathers loved be•
fore us,
Thee, '.• horn our sons
shall hail,
Praise we today in sturdy chorus,
Mother of Men—Old Yale !
