COLLEGE NOTES.
Conferences were held here on
Friday and Saturday last between
sub-committees representing the
athletic authorities of Bucknell and
State in regard to the athletic rela
tions of these institutions. The re
sults of the conference will be ratified
by both Faculty Athletic Com
mittees before being made public.
At the last meeting of the Elec
trical Engineering Society the fol
lowing officers were elected for the
spring term : president, D. R.
Simpson; vice president, M. J.
Henderson, secr..tary, C. D. Pres
ton; treasurer, C. R. btahl; marshal,
S. H. Gould.
H. A. Pearce, ex-'O9, visited the
college this week. He expects to
return next year and complete his
work with the class of 1910.
A new professional fraternity
among the agricultural and forestry
students was organized last Monday
evening.
A large part of the copy for the
new engineering publication is be
ing sent to the printers this week,
and the remainder will follow soon.
The book is expected to appear
within a few weeks.
After Tuesday morning's chapel
service, the students, by, an almost
unanimous vote, approved the plan
of securing a college physician.
A women suffrage club has been
organized at Minnesota. Men as
well as women are to be admitted to
membership.
Princeton is the first American
university, to have a hunt club. In
the spring they will play polo.
After a lapse of five years Har
vard and Germantown Universities
are to meet on the diamond this
