Interclass Basketball. The election of basketball mana gers by the two under classes last week resulted in the choice of L. E. Straughn for the sophomores, and E. Steidle for the freshmen. Calls for candidates will soon be posted. The sophomore have practically the same team which played 1909 last y ear, and although the ft eshmen have no varsity men, they have a number of men who made good in prep schools and will make a strong play ing combination. It is expected that they will have Barnett, Waha, and Craumer as coaches. The game will probably be played the week before Easter vacation begins The 1909 La Vie The managers of the La Vie wish to announce that until April 15th they will receive orders for books bound in leather, instead of the usual cloth binding, at an additional charge of $1.50. This will afford an opportunity to persons who wish an especially attractive and sub stantial copy of the college year book to obtain it. Heretofore this privilege has been reserved for members of the Junior class, but is now open to the public. Tne contract for printing and binding has been awarded to the Grit Publishing Co., of Williams port, which is well equipped to turn out high grade work. Among Sister College. A movement is under way at Penn sylvania to organize a Taft Republi can Club'. Michigan has declared as a wnole her intention of supporting Taft in the presidential campaign. Northwestern University has de cided to give University credit, for work in athletics, provided the work be of such• regularity and efficiency that it will be equivalent to four hours work in the gymnasium.
