Beside these, there are postponed
games between the Civils and
Chemists, and Farmers and Civils
yet to be played
The Wrestling Club.
On . last Saturday afternoon a
wrestling club was organized; C.
K. Weigle being elected president;
H. I. Smith, vice•president; J. M.
McKee, treasurer; and J. D. Wood
ward, manager. The object of the
club is to organize a wrestling team
to represent the college in that
branch of athletics. Meets with
Bucknell, Dickinson, Lehigh, La
fayette, and other colleges are con
templated, if these colleges will or
gamze teams. A meet with Penn
was discussed, but inasmuch as it
would be impossible to organize a
team this year which could represent
the college in a credible manner
against Penn's veteran team and also
because the expense'of taking a team
as far as Philadelphia was greater than
the club could bear, this matter was
decided against for this year. It
was decided, however, to send H.
I. Smith - down to Philadelphia to
see Penn's next wrestling match and
learn new holds from the Penn
wrestlers. He will then instruct the
members of the club.
For this year, at least, the club
expects to keep separate frcm the
