When the snow melts, however, and the slush comes, then it is that the conditions are abominable and should certainly be remedied. _ For several days during every, thaw after a big snow storm tie man without rubber overshoes inevitably gets wet feet. Of course iflhe, becomes sick from the neglect it is his own fault. The borough cleans the walks of property owners who refuse to do so and collects thp expense of doing it. Let the college, not be put to shame by the borough. Follow up the V shaped snow plow by a few men with shovels, especially over the most used walks, and the result in gOod tempers and dry feet will more than repay the expense. With Our ,Graduates. W.
