The Ideal Co-ed. The ideal co ed is a thing of books, A creature of brain entirely ; With stooping shoulders and studious looks, She digs all day and half the night . People say she is wondrous bright, But her figure's an awful sight I Her thoughts are deep in the classic past, She only thinks of A. B at last ; She has fled this world and its masuline charms, And a refuge found in Minerva's arms Now the kind of co ed that I describe Is a co ed rarely seen ; The real co-ed's a thing of grace ; With dainty figure and winsome face; She walks and rides. and shecuts, NI on Dieu! But every professor lets her through. For her each year is a road of joy, A. B. means nothing if not "A Boy," And you and I must•yield to her charms, And take the place of Minerva's arms. Stanford Quad The Funeral of Harry McCready. The funeral of Harry McCready, 'lO, took place on Thursday after noon at New Castle. Among the large floral tributes was a beautiful xeystone given by his class. As a mark of esteem, two classmates, C. E. Butt and A..W. Fisher were sent to the funeral by the sophomores The following resolutions were adopted by his section ana they are likewise the sentiment of his many friends in college : "The chemists of the class of 1910 of the Pennsylvania State College take this opportunity to express their great sorrow because of the premature death of their beloved friend and fellow chemist, Harry McCready ; and be it Resolved, That we extend to his bereaved family our sincere sym pathy in their great bereavement ; and be it further Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be published in the State Collegian.
