An event which marks the begin
ning of a new epoch in the literary life
of our college is the publication of a
new agricultural monthly, "The Penn
State Farmer," the first issue of
which will appear in the near future.
The paper will be a student publica
tion, the purpose of which is to
cover news and all articles of interest
in the department. While the ven
ture is a new one, there is every
reason for believing that the new
monthly, will be a success. The
following board has been chosen :
Editor in-chief, J. A. Runk; Asso
ciate Editor. C. E. Myers; Editorial
Staff, F. S. Bucher, K. B. Lohmann,
J. K. Musgrave, R. H. Thompson,
and P. I. Wrigley. The Business
Managers are E. H. Hibshman and
