Agricultural Cl•anges. During the past summer many changes have been made in the School of Agriculture. Five new heads of departments have been ap pointed, with ten new assistantants. The following are those lately ap pointed : Professor Alva Agee, of Wooster, Ohio, prominent in Institute work, a member of the board of the Ohio Agricultural Station, and a trustee of Wooster University, will head the agricultural extension work at this college. Professor John W. Gilmore comes here from Cornell with a very wide experience and will teach Agronomy. Professor Hugh P. Baker has been appointed to succeed Dr. Fernow in the Department of Forestry. He is a graduate of the Michigan Agri cultural College and the Yale For estry School. He has had wide practical experience throughout the United States in govermental serv ice. . The instructors and assistants are Bailey. E. Brown, C. F. Shaw and J. J. Skinner, instructors in agrono my ; John P. Stewart. instructor in experimental horticu'ture ; H. R. Fulton, instructor in botany ; J. W. Clark, instructor in poultry husban dry : John H. Barron, assistant in experimental agronomy ; C. L. Goodling, 'O7, dairy husbandry ; H. P. Fishburn, assistant chemist ; W. H. Tomhave, animal husbandry ; and W. R. White, 'O7, correspond ence courses. • These able men constitute a strong addition to the instruction force of this growing rapidly school.
