class effort in behalf of the Library.
In other colleges class funds for
special departments are prominent
sources of a Library's strength.
Small but increasing endowments
wisely expended build, in years,
most valuable collections. We may
confidently expect that the Class of
1907 will follow up their well begun
work and that older classes will imi
tate the example in the endeavor to
give "State" men the widest and
best opportunities for literary and
scientific work. Our ideal is that
the Library shall serve all "State"
men, graduates as well as under
graduates, and the Class of 1907 is
to be congratulated for having taken
the initial step in enlarging this ser
vice and in strengthening our hands."

The Interclass Meet.
The annual interclass track and
field meet was held on Beaver field,
Thursday May 30. The Juniors
were victors with 45 points,
Seniors second with 40 points,
Sophomores third with 19 points,
and Freshmen fourth with 13 points.
The track was fine and the weather
excellent, but only a small crowd
turned out. The half mile run and
