erly with the Department of Public
Safety for the city of Pittsburg,
now purchasing agent and general
engineering assistant to the Direct
or of the Carnegie Technical
schools. He is largely busy with
assisting in the plans for new build
ings.
H. S Lightcap, 'O4, and E. G.
Frazer. 'O5, are instructors in the
Department of Mathematics in the
Carnegie Technical schools.
C. V. Fitzimons, 'O5, has re
signed his position with Fairbanks,
Morse & Co. of Chicago and is now
assistant manager of the Avery
Scale Co., of Milwaukee. His ad
dress is 487 Cass street.
J. L. Minick, '99, and E. E.
Godard, 'O3, have for some months
been preparing designs for the
electrical equipment of the large
union railroad station in Washington,
D. C. They are connected with
the Pennsylvania railroad with head
quarters in Altoona.
Charles L. Kinsloe, 'O3, instructor
in electrical engineering in W. U.
P., has submitted a thesis for the
degree of electrical engineer on
"Special Methods of Commercial
Testing." .
Announcement has been made of '
the marriage of John S. Spicer, 'O6,
and Miss Rose Huber, of Mechanics
burg, Pa. Mr. Spicer has a posi
tion as chemist with a Lranch of the
Du Pont Powder Co., at Em
porium, Pa.
Instruction in boxing will be given
hereafter to the co-eds of Nebraska
State University.
By vote of the trustees, Johns
Hopkins University will open its
graduate courses to women, pro
vided the instructors concerned do
not object.
