    Second Indoor Meet,
Some excellent work was done at
the second of the series of indoor
meets, the averages for which have
just been announced. Kostenbauder
was high man in the shot put with a
throw of 33£t. lin., Strayer made
the remarkable record of 27 pull
ups, scoring 108 points, while J.
T. Henry’s running broad jump of
19 ft. 1-2 in. was the best of the
evening.
Strayer now heads the list with
an average of 73.9, closely followed
by Montz, who has 72.5 to his
credit. The following is the com

Basketball Captain Elected,
The varsity and reserve basket
ball teams of the past season were
tendered a banquet at McAllister
Hall on Saturday evening. During
the course of the evening E. G Du-
Barry, ’OB, was elected captain for
next year. He has been playing a
strong game this year and will un
doubtedly make a capable captain.
