    COLLEGE NOTES
N. N. Williams ’lO, who recently
underwent an operation on his eye
is improving rapidly and expects to
return to college after Easter.
The only remaining basketball
game is that between the sophomore
and freshman classes. Immediately
after, baseball will absorb the at
tention of the college body.
Professor H. E. Van Norman, of
the department of dairy husbandry,
has been made vice president of the
National Dairyman’s Show Asso
ciation, which gives an annual exhi
bition of all products, utensils, ma
chinery, etc., connected with dairy
interests.
The Civil Engineering department
is preparing plans for new appara
tus in the cement laboratory.
Mercersburg Club
The increasing number of Mercers
burg men coming to State has justi
fied some form of organization. A
Mercersburg club has accordingly
been established for social purposes
and for systematic work in promot
ing the interests of State at that
school. The following are the offi
cers: J. S. Ritchey, 'OB president
Balser Weber, ’OB, secretary, I. B.
Crilly, 'O9, treasurer.
Truth will out, even in the follow
ing misprint —The motor car has
come to slay.
