The Week With Our Opponents Last Saturday at Annapolis, Bucknell played the midshir men to a standstill, thus making the second time this season that Annapolis has been held down to a 0-0 score on its home grounds, Dickinson having accomplished the same thirg early in the season. The game was not brilliant by any means, and, as no ground could be gained consistently by either team, the result was a punting duel. Dickinson met defeat at the hands of Washington and Jefferson by he small score of 2-0. W. &J. was strong on the offense while Dickin son put up a stubborn defense. Neither team scored a touchdown and W. & J's only score came in the first half, when Capt. Davis of Dickinson,in attempting to punt was pushed back over his own goal line for a safety. The entire game was a good, hard struggle. West Virignia easily defeated Grove City, and the score of 25 to 0 shows that the latter was com pletely outclassed. The Morgan town team made no effort to run up a big score. However, fumbling was frequent and they lost the ball several times by fumbles. Kenna of W. V. U. kicked a field goal. Western University of Pennsyl vania was played to a standstill in the first half by the Carnegie Tech. team, of Pittsburg, but W. U. P. finally won out by the score of 31 to 0. Carnegie Tech. played in general a good game, while W. U. P. showed a woeful lack of interference and knowledge of signals. It is claimed, and the results of games played indicate, that W. U.
