Professor and Mrs. Pond desire
to take this means of renewing the
announcement that they are always
at home on Satt r lay evenings in
term time, to receive student callers,
and are always pleased to see any
students who may care - to call at
their home.
C. H. Moorhead, ex-'OB, is now
coaching an athletic team at Sun
bury, Pa.
H. C. Duff, who was a member
of the class of 1909 last year, has
entered the Case School of Applied
Science, Cleveland, Ohio.
F. L. Honhart, ex-'OB, has been
playing a strong game at right half
back for the Springfield Training
School. This team has played
both Yale and Harvard, holding the
former to a low score.
Considerable interest is manifested
in connection with the Villanova
game here next Saturday. The
visitors have a strong team this year
and expect to give State a hard
struggle.
Juniors and Sophomores who
have not handed in lists of their va
dant hours are requested to do so at
once. Appointments in Junior and
Sophomore Rhetoricals are posted
on the Bulletin board in the lobby of
the Carnegie Library.
The Electrical Engineering So
ciety at its meeting on October 17,
discussed the annual trip to be ta
ken by the Electricals this year.
Several papers were read on appro
priate subjects.
