signed a two-year contract in foot
ball with Michigan University.
The seniors at Colgate have de
cided not to wear sweaters, flannel

Statistics give the average salary
of graduates of Boston Tech. at
$623 the first 3 ear, $3,000 after ten
years, and $5,000 after twenty
years.
Harvard University has decided

Amherst College has adopted the
honor system. Freshmen caught

The Athletic Association of Dick
inson college has decided that, here
after, managers of athletic teams
shall not be permitted to wear the
letter "D," except on a small button

The Mask and Wig Club of Penn
has given $5OO to the University.
This will be known as the Mask and
Wig Fund,and will be used for what
ever purpose the members of the

A naticnal conference of Greek
ietter fraternities will be held next
fall at the University of Illinois.
The conference has been called by
President James for the pur
pose of discussing the questions of
mutual interest.
A new national organization,
known as the Delta Sigma Rho, was
recently formed in Chicago. Mem
bership is limited to orators and de
baters, and, moreover, they must
have represented their Alma Mater
in some inter-collegiate contest.
Lafayette has just changed her
entrance requirements to make it
possible for a larger number of men
to enter the Pardee Scientific depart
ment. Two years of French will be
equivalent to two of German, and
one year of Chemistry to one of
Physics.
At Princeton the trustees have
adopted a new system of chapel at
tendance. Formerly each student
was assigned a seat in chapel. Now
each student receives a blank slip on
entering ,which he signs and leaves
at the door as he goes out.—The
