THURSDAY, MAY 31, 1906 EDITORIAL In former years it has been a prevalent custom for some Seniors to sell the programs which admit them to the Junior assembly. This year, however, the committee has taken steps to eliminate this feature, and it is to be hoped that they will succeed. The members of the Senior class are admitted free to the Junior assembly, which is given in their honor. For thoughtless men to deliberately sell their programs is not the idea intended by the Juniors in going to so much expense to pro vide the farewell reception and dance. The plan as outlined is printed in another column at the re quest of the committee in order to discourage a renewal of the com mercial spirit of a few. Kottcamp (in boilers)—"What is another way of making that test ?" Rittenhouse—' 'Why Professor there are five fellows telling me that, but I don't know which one is right." THE STATE COLLEGIAN To the Editor: Dear Sir : The programs for this year's Junior Assembly will be given out differently than they have been be fore, in order to prevent their being transferred. The name of each person getting programs will be taken, and every program will be num bered. A list of the names will be kept at the door, and each person must show this number before being admitted. In order to facilitate matters it is suggested that students kindly get their programs as soon as the notice of their arrival appears on the bulletin board. Signed, Theses of the Graduating Class.
