A Big Game One of the fiercest battles ever fought on a baseball diamond was won last Thursday by the 'O7 Me chanicals from the 'O7 Civils. Each side played fairly well as a whole, but the civils were rather weak in the in-field, especially Ist base. In the third inning it became evident that "Buster" was too short for good fielding so "Sleepy" Schwenk took his place in the fourth. Both of the Steigerwalt twins won their "M's," each scoring a run. Lacrosse The Lacrosse rackets, which were ordered by the Athletic, Association have been received, and practice was commenced last Thursday in front of the Annexes. It is too late to arrange any games for this year, but next year it is intended to es tablish the game firmly and arrange a schedule. There will be about two dozen sticks, and all who wish to come out for the fall practice next year can be accommodated. Ohio State University and Swarth more are among the few institutions that put their co-eds to practical ac count. In each institution the co eds are represented on the debating team. H. D.
