Death of H. S. Davis On Thursday, May 10, at mid ,night, Mr. Henry S. Davis, 8.5., M.E., a graduate of the class of '9B, died at his home in Philadelphia. He contracted typhoid fever and was ill but a short time. Since his graduation Mr. Davis has been with Wrn. Cramp and Sons, Ship and • Engine Buildei s, and, at the time of his death; was assistant to the chief engineer. During his college days Mr. Dav is was popular and active. He was a prominent member of the Musical Clubs, manager of the 'Varsity base ball team, and a member of Y,X and ONE fraternities. His remains were taken to his for mer home in York for interment last Monday. Inter=Collegiate Debate Franklin and Marshall has sub mitted to State the following ques tion: Resolved, That the fifteenth amendment to the constitution of the United States should be re pealed. State has choice of sides, and a selection will be made this Week. Considerable interest will probably attend this contest, as State this year won the champion ship of the league which is com posed of Swarthmore, Dickinson, Franklin and Marshall, and State. H.
