The presidents of seven Michigan colleges at a secret meeting here have decided after a long discussion to permit the members of their col lege baseball teams to play profes sional baseball in the summer, pro viding they do not play in the major or minor leagues of the country. Following are the colleges whose presidents were present: Ypsilanti, Normal, Hillsdale, Al ma, Albion, Kalamazoo, Olivet and Michigan Agricultural College. The presidents also recommended the abolishing of the training table and the system of a'lowing the athletes free board and the permitting of men to enter college for a few weeks dur ing the athletic season. It was decided that freshmen may enter athletic contests provided they have been in school twelve weeks and are up in their scholarships. Providence, R. 1., March 10.
