COLLEGE NOTES Many of the college organizations had their pictures taken during the past week for the La Vie. The Nittany Lighting company has installed a number of Nernst Lamps in several of the town build- W. H. Housel, caterer of the Mc- Allister dining hall has rented the new State College Hotel which will open up to. the public on or about April Ist. Soon time for that Freshman banquet. A fellow may talk about the weather these days and still be in- teresting, Prof. Reber gave several lectures on water turbines illustrated by lantern slides before the Seniors last week. P. P. Reese, ’O7, is back again in our midst. He is wearing a broad smile and is receiving congratulations. As yet we have learned nothing definite of the happy event. A. M.
