Colby College has a horn rush in which the Freshmen blow a horn and then try to retain possesion of it for an allotted time while the Sophs endeavor to capture it. James J. Hogan, who captained Yale football team last year is coach ing Exeter this season. Bucknell enters two new buildings this fall, one a new building for women, and the other the Carnegie Library. It is said that there is no more hazing at Franklin and Marshall College. Y. M. C. A. Notes The topic for the meeting on next Sunday evening is “Common sense Christianity. ’ ’ Remember that the meetings are now held at 6 p. m. in stead of 6.30, and turn up on time at Room 529, Main. The Tuesday evening meetings are held at 6.30 as before. Last winter the state legislature of Arkansas, recognizing the work of the Young Men’s Christian Associa tion in Arkansas University, gave $l,OOO to it for equipment. The students, faculty, and friends in Fayetteville pledged an equal amount. The board of trustees then set aside for the Association use an entire floor of the south wing of the main build ing. In this the Association has now fitted up a trophy room,a missionary room, a Bible study room, a small chapel, a library, and a game room.
