from sickness at his home in Phila
delphia, has returned to college.

over last Sunday visiting his fra
ternity, the Kappa Sigma.
A. H. Roop, who was assistant
in the chemical laboratories year be
fore last has returned to take his old
position.
Andy Lytle took excellent care
of State’s varsity squad at Harris
burg last Saturday.
Dr. F. E. Clark, Ph. D,, instruc
tor in Chemistry here- last year is
■now professor of chemistry at the
Central University of Kentucky.
A large number of students missed
the special leaving Harrisburg Sat
urday evening and were compelled
to stay at the Capital until Monday.
A large number of ministers who
attended the Lutheran Synod at
Pine Grove Mills last week paid a
visit to the college and inspected the
buildings.
Prof. W. C. Thayer, formerly of
State College, who has been on leave
of absence for one year in Florida
has resumed his work as professor
of English in Lehigh University.
Work has commenced on the ex
cavations for the new Sigma Chi
House. This is the second fraternity
house to be placed on the campus.
