Just a Word.
The management of the baseball
team wishes to take this means to
thank the students for the consider
ate way that they have remained off
the baseball field this year. It has
always been a great problem here,
especially since the bleachers were
destroyed, to keep the field clear.
It is not desirable to run ropes along
the foul line for then special rules
governing such conditions must be
made and besides it hampers the
players a great deal.
At the last game however a little
tendency for the fellows to crowd
arouna first base manifested itself.
Let us guard ourselves in this par
ticular and by our consideration en
courage our very victoi ious team to
even greater success.
