The basketball team lined up for
their pictures last Monday.
Prof. J. P. Jackson was out of
town on Monday of this week.
J. K. Herr ’OB, has left College
to take a position in Arkansas.
Miss Helen H. Atherton has been
spending a few days in Scranton.
Prof. A. H. Espenshade recently
went New York for eye treatment.

Prof. Fehr was confined to his
home on account of sickness, the

P. M. Rainey, ’O5, who has had a
great deal of trouble with his ear
last week, is about again.
The stag dance held in the armory
on Saturday evening was a great suc
cess socially and financially.
Prof. F. L. Pattee has been ap
pointed to oversee the summer school
course in English at Dartmouth.
P. M. Rainey, president of the
Senior class, has been elected to de
liver the valedictory next June.
P. P. Reece, ’O7, “followed the
band” in the Inauguration proces
sion last Saturday at Washington.
William H. Teas, ’97, chemist for
the Elk Tanning Company, of Ridg
way, is the proud father of a baby
boy.

Candidares for the track team are
numerous this year and the daily
outdoor working has been goinging
on for some time.
Though Dr. Gill may have never
used a “pony” while in College he
has confessed to using a “horse”
for the past thirteen years.
Chas. W. Walker, ’O7, who had
his ankle badly sprained last week,
has completely recovered and now
walking without difficulty.
The management of the 1906 La
Vie requests that all organizations
wishing their pictures in this year’s
annual should attend to it at once.
F. C. Mayer, general agent of the
King-Richardson Co,, book publish
ers, has been at the college for some
time enlisting men for summer can
vassing.
Those who were wishing for spring
to “hurry up” received a jar last
Saturday morning when they awoke
and found the campus covered with
ten inches of snow.
The entertainment, which was to
have been given by Packard, the
Humorist, under the auspices of the
Y. M. C. A., has been scheduled
for the 28th or 29th of April.
Owing to unavoidable circum
stances, the lecture, which was to
have been given last Friday evening
by Mr. Downington, of the Westing
house Electric Co., has been post
poned.
The N. E. G. Anti-Swearing
Club had it’s first “feed” last Satui
day evening. The members say
that it is a great success as the
amount of swearing on the fourth
floor has become a minimun.
Mr. Housel, of Bloomsburg, who
is to manage the dinning room of Me
Allister Hall, was at the college sev
eral days last week. It is expected
that the dining room will be open
by the beginning of the spring term,.
