R. Cum mings '95, tv/o volumes (bound) of the Railway and Engineering Review, from Nelson Lloyd ’95, copies of his worki; examples full of suggestion to the en tire Alumni Body, and to friends of the College everywhere. The Librarian will furninsh lists of books needed at any time, to intending donors. We need a full set of La Vies, with the exception of Vols. VII and XVI. Will not some Alumnus respond ? We want copies of class Pictures, Programs, Athletic Registers, Con stitutions of Undergaduate organiza tions, Fraternity Publications—in short, anything illustrative of State’s current or past academic life. These, when gathered m one place, will be increas ingly valuable as the years go. Don’t for get the Library copy in every instance. Books of class C, The Library Committee wisely plan ned fer growing circulating priviliges in the new Library, The books of the Washington and The Cresson Literary Societies form the nucleus, while to there are added “all works cf poetry, fiction, travel and lighter liter ature.” There are about 1500 vol umes of this class, which may be with drawn for a period of one week and subject to one renewal. There is no thought of inflicting upon the Col legian the list of books thus within the student’s reach, but let me name a few of the authors included : Adams, Ad dison, Allen, Bryer, Browning, Cable, Carlyie, Cooper, Dickens, Emerson, Oethe, Hawthorne, Hearn, Holmes, i ■ Mi, Loigfellow, Lessing, Moris/, } i < nan, Ruslan, Stockton, 5 a L i!' !-'/, fumy;''!., ,~t ,:ei •/• ll ' ‘ iillll i li u I 'i *A* j 0o 11■ . b-.e-ii :.: . > i 11 It nv -iy l ’ o in tne Main Ptaunig Room, where it can be Consulted. iT WILL PAY YOU to examino THE -INTERNATIONAL" SAMPLES lu'fnlc you I»u> our Winter Suits.
