Basket Ball The Varsity basket ball team played the first game of the season at Altoona. Dec. 16, and were de feated by the score of 23 to 16. .The game- was played in a very small cage, which in addition to the fact that it was Altoona’s home floor, proved a handicap too great for State to overcome.
