The annual meeting of The Penn
sylvania Dairy Union was held in
Harrisburg on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
Interesting papers were presented by
Prof. R. A. Pearson of Cornell Uni
versity, Dr. C. J. Marshall, of
Philadelphia, Prof. John W. Deck
er, of the Ohio State University,
Dr. Wm. Frear, of The Pennsyl
vania State College, and Dr. Leon
ard Pearson, State Veterinarian.
The program also included an ad
dress by the Secretary of Agricul
ture, The Hon. N. B. Critchfield,
the President’s annual address, and a
discussion concerning the threatened
repeal of the Grout Bill taxing color
ed oleomargarine 10c per pound.
The following officers were elect
ed for the ensuing year.
