Basket Ball. The prospects for a successful basket ball team are exceedingly bright. All of last year’s team are in college and are trying hard for positions. They will, however, be obliged to hustle for their places as the Freshmen have a few strong players in their class. At present there are fifty candi dates out, but Capt. “Billy” Dunn will drop most of this number after the holidays. Moorhead, Burns and Zink seem to be the best of the new men. The copy for the new catalogue will be hurried off to the printers just as soon as the list of Short Course stu dents is complete. There are a number of changes in several of the courses which will be of interest. The Civil Engineering course will offer two options, one in Railway Engineering and the other in Sani tary Engineering. This is the first time this has been done and practi cally amounts to two courses. The course in Mines and Mining has been changed. This time it has been consolidated instead of being made more diffuse and now two op tions are offered, Mining Engineer ing and Metallurgical Engineering. More engineering has been added and the options limited to the two named above. "Man wants but little here below, nor wants that little long,” MONTGOMERY & CO. Bellefonte, Pa.
